A lot of schools require children to read books over the summer. And a lot of places offer reading programs that will help kids stick to their goals. Like this one.
The Toronto Public Library is offering a summer reading club that will kelp keep kids on track and give them some incentive to do it. All you have to do is head into your local branch and sign your child up. Your child will then receive a free TD Summer Reading Club kit. When your child reads a book he or she will collect a sticker. Collect enough of them and your child could get a great prize! This program has already started and will run through September 7th.
