For topics like 'eMusic Free Download of the Day' - when I post the current day's offering, do you prefer that I delete the previous day's offering? Or move it to the Expired section instead?

Is there any way of improving the 'Search' functionality, so that posts can be found by key words in the title and by URL?

As an example, I was trying to find an earlier post about a free IBM Mini-Book titled 'Green IT for Dummies'. I tried every combination of words (ie: for Dummies, Green IT, Free IBM Book, Free IBM Mini-Book, etc) and the Search function could not locate the post. I eventually had to Google it to find the date I posted it. And then I had to go back on the Forum, page by page, until I located that date's posts.

It would also be really helpful if we could locate the posts by just entering in the link to the form (URL) contained in the post.

The previous forum's system had a fantastic search capability. If the search functionality on vBulletin could be tweaked to be the same, this would be really helpful and would cut down on duplicate posts. :-)

I entered 'for Dummies' in the Search and the Green IT book came up this time. Thanks for working on it. :-)

The Search by URL isn't quite there yet. I enter a URL and it just brings up all the most recent posts.

I tried uploading an ad from Sport Chek for free skate sharpening, but got a message that it was too large. (The message said: 'Your file of 108.9 KB bytes exceeds the forum's limit of 97.7 KB for this filetype').

The ad is just in black and white, not a lot of detail.

Just curious...can the file size limits for attachments be increased?

We will try to increase the file size, otherwise tinypic.com works well. Make sure you are uploading jpg or gif files as those take up less file space.

Just wondering...is there a way I can modify the title in the top post in a thread?

When I do a Reply to the post, I can change the title - but that only changes the title in my Reply, not in the top post.
